2066 and all that is the new sequel to Sellar and Yeatman's classic parody, 1066 and all that, covering the period from the end of WW! to the rise and fall of Tony Blah and the Blah Era. Gentle rather than pointedly satiricial in tone, this sequel is very much in the spirit of the original to which it pays homage: a consistently hilarious and inventine take on the cliches and muddles of 20th century history. The text is illustrated by witty and charming line drawings, ranging from a portrayal of Mussolini, the charming but ill Duce, to the arrival of the Coronation Chicken at Portsmouth in 1953.
